A month ago, we embarked on a new charitable project organized internally at Plusnet Solutions, and today we wanted to summarize it and reflect on the achievements we have reached. Here are the details:
At the beginning of the month, we set ourselves a dual goal: on one hand, to promote physical activity and teamwork among our staff; on the other hand, to provide valuable support to the Rainfer – Chimpatía Foundation and its tireless work in rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for rescued primates in Spain.
Rainfer, as part of the Chimpatía Foundation, is dedicated to rescuing and providing love and care to these animals who have experienced traumatic experiences, helping them recover and enjoy a dignified life. And we wanted to dedicate our first charitable action of the year to them.
March has ended with the commitment and dedication of 5 teams who together have totaled more than 4.7 million steps this month in support of the Rainfer – Chimpatía Foundation, which translates into a donation from Plusnet Solutions aimed at helping to pay part of the heating bills at the center. During the cold months, it is crucial that the primates feel comfortable and warm in their environment, and with each step we have taken, we have contributed to providing them with the necessary comfort for their well-being at the center.
Internally, we not only wanted to limit ourselves to walking, but we also took the opportunity to share content related to Rainfer and its invaluable work internally. This has allowed us to raise awareness about the importance of this cause and generate constructive debate on how we can contribute positively.
The total number of steps achieved is overwhelming, and we believe it reflects our commitment over the years to the well-being and health of our staff, as well as to society and the environment. At Plusnet Solutions, we have always believed in the importance of taking care of our team, fostering a healthy work environment, and promoting initiatives that support the physical and mental well-being of our employees. At the same time, we have actively committed to corporate social responsibility, seeking ways to contribute positively to the community and the environment. This charitable challenge is just another example of our continued commitment to these fundamental values.
