At Plusnet, we believe that every step we take can make a significant difference in the world around us. That’s why, taking advantage of World Heart Day on September 29th, we’re joining a red wave to celebrate our “Heart Month,” a period in which we’ll come together to impact lives and contribute to a cause that deeply moves us.
At the very core of this initiative lies our passion for people, for helping, and for going beyond our daily operations to extend a helping hand to those who need it most. This month, we’re proud to collaborate with the Menudos Corazones Foundation, an organization committed to assisting children with congenital heart conditions and their families.
Putting Our Heart into Helping
Every year, around four thousand children are born in Spain with congenital heart conditions. To pay tribute to the bravery and strength of these children and their families, we’ve launched an exciting internal team challenge where we hit the streets of our cities to accumulate steps in support of Menudos Corazones.
The goal is simple yet powerful: to reach 400,000 steps per participating team, contributing not only to the personal health of our people but also to a larger cause – providing support to families facing immense challenges. How? For each team that achieves the challenge goal, Plusnet will donate a year of free accommodation to those families who need to relocate and be close to the hospital while their children receive treatment. This way, we’re turning those steps into real support and an improvement in the quality of life for these families during their times of greatest need.

Our “Heart Month” isn’t just a campaign; it’s a testament to our commitment to help, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility program, and our determination to be a positive agent of change in the community. By joining this cause, we understand that we’re not only strengthening our internal community but also fostering collaboration and showing that together we can make a difference.
A Family Celebration
And to conclude the month with a flourish, we’ll be gathering with our families at the Menudos Corazones Race, held in Madrid on September 24th.
At Plusnet, we want to join this event together with our families on a day filled with excitement and sportsmanship. Whether running or simply taking a walk, we’ll cross the finish line while putting our hearts into making the lives of these brave children and their families a little bit easier.
